I have nearly 4 years old all-weather tires on it. Profile is still about 3 mm. I wanted to give my car new footwear to winter. Now the not bad looking extremely lose grip. First it was only on wet road (there were still 4 mm on it), now even on dry road the ABS intervenes at normal braking. Can that be? Bzw. Is it intended that I should buy new tyres at 4-5 mm already? It is about 235/50R15 Pirelli Verde-Eco. I was very satisfied, but that in this weather 3mm are not enough, seems to me to be a problem of the tire?? Now I think about taking the falcon Euro All Season AS200. They have a bit worse reviews, but maybe you can drive the longer than only 4mm (40 – 50tkm) before they lose the grip? What do you think? I hope here are tire specialists among you??
