Windscreen wipers in winter

Hello to each other, what do you do with the windshield wipers in winter? Does anyone have a good tip? If you have turned off the engine, you can briefly press the windshield wiper and the things go to the right and left into the “upper parking position”. Now you can fold the windshield wiper and make the windshield and wiper ice-free. Woe, you forgot to go up and the windshield is full of ice and snow! Because then you can’t make the wiper ice-free and also nic With my other cars I have already put cork under the rubbers, so that nothing freezes – that’s probably not so ideal with the C4 Picasso. I’m glad that the rear windscreen wiper does not automatically start wiping when the reverse gear is inserted and the windscreen wipers are switched on. That’s what the Renault Scenic does and it then rumbles over snow and ice in winter – probably the French don’t have snow and ice. the rubbers are broken, even the wiper motor can burn. So who knows advice for suffering windscreen wipers? Thanks a lot NeuBrander
