BLS or BSE – which is the more problem-free/long-lived short-range motor?

Good morning, for each of the two engines you will find numerous individual information, but what about a direct comparison in terms of maintenance costs, error susceptibility, etc. with predominantly short-range profile? Which engine is the more durable, low-maintenance short-range motor of the two? The answer is probably obvious, but who knows, maybe I am completely wrong with my assessment (BSE). Background: We have recently run a Caddy Life with BSE engine from 2007, just under 72tkm, but oil consumption is not dramatically high according to the previous owner (I can’t say because of minimal self-km performance since purchase). Now I would have the opportunity to get a Caddy Maxi Life 7-seater with BLS engine and DPF (charging coefficient 21.3%, ash mass 17g) from 2010 (unfortunately without a heater) with almost 60tkm (both vehicles are in the profile).
