Moin together, have bought me an o.g convertible and have no idea of the technique of the convertible…. can so far only Golf 2 (but that’s quite good) 😉 Cab is BJ 92 without special equipment. Now I would like to retrofit an AI with on-board computer a few questions: Does the one from the convertible 2.8 fit into my 2.3 ? Do I need the AI wire harness for the BC or is the standard always installed ? Does the consumption signal always apply. (as I have read so far this is probably not always on the control unit) ? Does the AI with BC always have a check system or is there AI with BC and check system ? (my existing AI does not have a ceck system) Does anyone even have an installation/connection instruction for the KI ? Cab has 200 tons run from second possession, roof is dense. Accident and rust-free… for € 2100 I think a good price. Engine runs round. Of course a few macs, but I will fix them until the summer. Thank you and greetings.
