Hello, I had the right winter tires installed at an extra cost when buying my Crv in September last year instead of the standard tyres. That was also OK….it’s Pirelli Zero 225/60 18″ on the Orginalalulul wheels Now I’m thinking about what I do in the summer half-year. I was at a tyre dealer who told me the following: Especially many off-road cars and SUV drivers ride with winter tyres all year round. What speaks for it: No cost / work to reassemble No cost for summer bikes When you drive into the terrain or on a muddy meadow you usually get along much better than with the pure summer tyres. What speaks for it: The tire uses more of course at high temperatures. More sporty driving / braking is not as good as with summer tyres. From the costs the bill goes up, rather after 40,000 km I buy a new set of winter tyres than now a new set of summer tyres and then even new winter tyres when needed. The statement of the tyre dealer made me think about: “With the current pure summer tires you don’t come up well with the concept of turning around with the front wheels?
