DAB+ is a flop like HD+ or how many cars do DAB+ really have? Hello people, DAB+ is rather meaningless in my circle of acquaintances. Supposedly, more and more households have a DAB+ device. Quotation: “Almost 40 percent of new cars in Germany are equipped with DAB+” On this page (https://www.dabplus.de/geraete/im-auto/) the vehicles are listed by manufacturers who might have DAB+. Whether the PDFs are correct and complete, I don’t know. In any case, DAB+ is almost never standard. Quotation: “Since since 2015 there are hardly any more car models that DAB+ have integrated into the vehicle as a series.” But always against many EUROs on top of it. The option costs almost as much as an upper class smartphone or iPhone. The state radio station Deutschlandradio now converts a few mini areas to DAB+, because I don’t keep using DAB+ as a step in the way.
