As an eternal Volvo driver, I never expected it: on the return journey from France vacation we stayed, now the Job diagnosis of the workshop: complete engine damage, replacement and installation about 14,000Euro !!!!!! We bought the D5 with first registration in 2013 and at that time about 30,000km a year ago from a Volvo dealer here in Berlin, had all inspections done, this huge damage now at 60,000km…The history of this defect is funny: the last inspection in February had resulted in zero errors. Because of start problems due to lack of battery charge (two years old) we were right before the holiday again at Volvo. A software update was made, everything was in order. In France then again start problems ( 3x start help!!!), at the end unnerved bought in The Hague a new battery. 300km later then the engine damage, belt torn from the light machine was probably the trigger. Now another Volvo workshop, to which the car was towed again, the battery is also completely empty. What should not be, I let it be fully charged in The Hague and let me see the battery stand with a similar inspection?
