Hi, I am standing in the workshop with my B6 from 2008 and wanted to provide the roof rail with new seals so that it no longer drips pure. I discovered a wet passenger footroom a few days ago. Now I see just that it is not seals, but rather foam, so that the roof rail does not touch the bodywork. I am not sure now as it used to be sealed. the 6 screws were all fixed. The underlay disc (if I call it) under the roof is a few mm movable. 02/2020 the entire roof was painted in a KFZ paint shop incl. engine hood for about 900 because I had at the front at the edges many stone strokes after 300tkm. Unfortunately, the paint shop was not so good. I have the roof railed back and down at that time. Since then only about 10tkm have come to it by long standing times. I think it has started with it again again, but the interior has been wet again. I want to drive the vehicle as long as possible and not sell at all. What could I do now “fastly” so that it will not keep it again for a bit of oil.
