Motor driers V70 D5

Dear Volvo community, I have recently had a V70 D5 automatic built in 2010. As time goes by, I notice more and more a roaring noise, which I had just dropped off and attributed to the 5 Zyl. Diesel. However, the more I pay attention to it, the more annoying it becomes. It is a dull, hollow roaring noise always only at approx. 1400- 1700 rpm – no matter in which gear the automatic is located and no matter in which speed range. The noise, which can be heard mainly inside, is most disturbing in traffic – very annoying. It is definitely in a quiet driving mode, if the engine doesn’t have to go up quickly, the worst. I had the problem examined already with the friendly, but they could not find anything. It would come from the direction of the engine room (at least he heard something), I would have typed rather on the exhaust system. Here in the forum are similar contributions, however, 10 years old and certainly no longer known about the noise ?
