Hello! Had the great pleasure today to make a full braking, because otherwise someone would have driven me in at the turn. I drive by the way an Escort Kombi 1.8 TD with 90 hp, year 98. The braking effect was already very strange lately, because I had the feeling when braking more strongly as if the floor covering on which I braked was “unben”. Such a “vibrating” braking was that… Anyway, after the complete braking I drove still without braking problems 100 km and then left the motorway nter. At the abrasing there was suddenly a “blow” from the front and I had at once almost no braking effect anymore (it only grinds still). When driving there is now a loud metallic clack from the front. To thank you it is from the descent home only 1.5 km, which I have covered at snail speed. Now it is already too dark to take off the front tyres to see what it is and where it comes from. Has someone ever had similar experiences or has an idea what kapu could be tt?
