In the new MY 2011 there are two black metal plates with a hole in the front passenger footroom in the XC60, V70 and also S80. What are they used for? Mine says: “I don’t know, I have never seen / perceived before.” Others tell something about accessories, such as trash can, umbrella holder and computer table, which is attached to these metal plates. Strangely enough, this accessory used to exist before, without these hooks and eyelets in the footroom. None of the respondents was able to say concretely which accessories are now connected to these fastenings in what form. So all only conjectures. Conclusion: They don’t seem to know very much about their products. Does anyone know more specifically here? lg d-speed
