As AUTO BILD reports in the edition published on Friday (Edition 17), several older Volvo 850, whose standard built-in seat heater had caught fire again in recent times. For the Swedish manufacturer an old known problem, because already seven years ago a recall action of the model years 1996 and 1997 of the 850 in the USA was supposed to correct this danger. Now the meanwhile aged models came to fire again – also in Germany. The whole car can burn out… uiijuijui… I have already seen several pictures of melted-in heat mats!
