Questions of understanding regarding tyre size 205/55 R16

Hello! I have been driving an automatic Volvo V70 I for 5 months with 170 hp, first registration April 1998. According to vehicle identification no. it is a model “LW 5526”. Currently I have summer tyres of the size 205/50 R16 on it on Columba rims. Now I want to replace these with all-year tires. As discussed here in several forums there is hardly any choice for the size 205/50 R16 and then only completely overpriced. So I would like to get 205/55 R16 full-year tires. However, I am even after reading several Threats still not 100% sure if I may or not. There is obviously a manufacturer’s certificate from 2005 that allows the tyre size 205/55 R16 under conditions, but in the extract of the German Federal Motor Vehicle Agency (EG-BE e9’93/81*0002*00 to *13) from 2007 the tyre size 205/55 R16 does not appear under my model “LW 5526” or “L?55??”. 1. Which of the two statements is right or correct? So that the TÜV does not make any stress at all. the next HU and in case of an accident the insurance also pays. Moreover, at the very end under conditions 8) there is another restriction for model “L?55??”: … only from EG-BE e9’93/81*0002*10 2.Does that mean any wine? ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ f would have had to have the steering limiter already installed, wouldn’t it? 4. At Scandix I am informed that the steering limiter with part No. 271800 is not suitable for my model. After a little search I found out that there is another steering limiter with the number 9192701 (displacement disc, steering limit) which should fit my model. Is that correct? And will the manufacturer’s certificate then not be free of any problems for my model? 5. Should the steering limiter be suitable for my model? I get 205/55 R16 tyres and the corresponding steering limiter would have to be installed by the workshop. How expensive will that be? Isn’t the price advantage of the “cheaper” tyres eaten up? Again my Volvo probably won’t get new tyres again. I know that this topic has already been addressed several times, but so 100% satisfied with no answer so far. I’m rather totally confused. Especially now that I also have a partial review for r the tyres 205/55 R16 from 1999 from TÜV Hessen have found here. Thank you in advance, Oliver
