Hello together, at my forfour the following has happened: – Grinding noises at the rear right – Workshop says: “acoustic wear indicator” – Brake disc and pads on the rear axle completely changed (at km-stand 102.000) – drive every day single ride 50 km to the job (45 km highway) – the day after brake change again to check with the mechanic – rim at the rear right with high temperature – no grinding tracks on the brake disc – wheel turns without problems plett “free” – vehicle on brake dynamometer –> no problem fixable – On the brake disc I see from the middle ( hub) starting a ring of about 10 mm wide with initial color… – Workshop says: there is the possibility that the brake caliper “hydraulically does not go in neutral position” – recommendation change caliper… – mechanically the caliper is absolutely smooth and functional – ride now for 3 days without problems, also the rim has no increased temperature meh r.. – yet I have a “mumble feeling”… What do you think, should I have the brake caliper changed?
