This morning I brought my V70, EZ 04/2004, speed 112Tkm to the friendly because of a speed-dependent high sum (most significantly at 2,700Umin in the fourth gear). The diagnosis of the experts: gear damage, gearbox must be replaced, clutch on this occasion equal to it. Including a 50% participation of Volvo in the replacement costs of the transmission should pay 2,182.57 EURO. A gearbox should actually last longer than 112.000km. Are these costs justified from your point of view? Thank you for your advice Sven
