The problem could be solved insofar as the noises are gone. However, since I always have the impression that the flap makes some strange noises when closing, I have looked at the tail a bit more closely. I noticed strongly different gap measurements sideways between the rear window and rearlight: on the right there is virtually no air and on the left there is about 6 mm. I attach photos. I ask myself whether this has its correctness or can cause something like that. Does this look like this to you? Are Volvo such gap measurements common? Should you call it or am I too petty?
