Dear Forum, since the new S60 is still waiting (if it comes at all), I have been informed by my dealer about the new S80 and the XC90. Both models are currently available with the well-known gasoline engine 2.5T with 200 hp (or 210 hp) and will be delivered with the new 3.2-6 cylinder and approx. 240 hp from 2007 onwards. The sales consultant now said that the 2.5T engine would be replaced by the 6 cylinder, i.e. the 2.5T would be completely removed later. Can I not imagine, however, that the gasoline starter models only started with 240 hp. Normally the engine pallets are rounded down rather to the bottom. Unfortunately, I have not found anything in the forum yet. Does anyone have any more information? Do you think that waiting for the 6 cylinder would be worthwhile?
