Analyze cooling water loss

My Peugeot workshop proposes to repair the damage caused by engine replacement (approx. €6,000), as the cylinder head seal is suspected to wear out. Due to the vehicle’s age of almost 10 years, this investment is a serious decision to replace timing belts and coolant pump only a week ago, and the regular inspection carried out regularly together with a total of €1,300 to book it. Four weeks earlier, a water loss was analyzed in the course of a reduced heating performance and various work on the turbocharger etc. was carried out, among other things, the torn water line on the turbocharger was renewed and thus costs of a total of € 1,418 were incurred. Thus, the inspection costs were calculated from the previously incurred repair costs for the water loss, so that within 4 weeks approximately 2,300 euros were invested for this purpose. With the proposed solution to the problem of “cooling water loss”, the decision would be over 8,000 euros. Since the drawing issue of 807 Family HDI 135 was equipped with only about 70.000 centimetres of the fuel pump, and this was equipped with an additional 4 thousand centimetres of the fuel.
