The current car image warns against the chip tuning of diesel engines. A VW Golf TDI with 140 hp (probably PD) was tuned by several suppliers. All tested devices were in common that engine and particle filters were heavily loaded. In two cases, the soot output was twice as high as in the series car, which destroys the filter permanently. Also on the exhaust turbocharger too high temperatures arose, which can lead to engine damage. So nevertheless “Finger away from diesel chipping” ???
