Hello all, I bought my wife a Mini Cooper convertible from 04/2009 with 120 HP. Has run 160,000 km and is quite fun! I’m just doing some repairs and stumbled over the topic “chain tensioner”. So far I did not hear any noises at the cold start, but to be sure, I would like to exchange it. Do I only need the chain tensioner itself or any seals, rails etc.? Somewhere I have read that you should buy the chain tensioner at Peugeot because it is much cheaper there. Is that true? Would I definitely be happy about links or part numbers.
