Hello dear people, have a problem. Drive my Volvo V40 1.8 bj 2003 with the Castrol Magnatec 5w-40 with the release ACEA A3. Now Castrol has changed the release of the oil from ACEA A3/B4 to ACEA C3. My question: Can I continue to use this oil even if Volvo requires an ACEA A1/A3 engine oil on my engine? According to research, an ACEA C3 oil is suitable for gasoline and diesel engines and has the same characteristics as the ACEA A3 oil.
