If there’s a problem with the car, it’s 30 weeks since I’m not moving the car, it’s suddenly a disturbing noise in the form of a cracking. I find the noise somewhere in the area of the dashboard / windshield / A-pillar / ventilation nozzle on the right side. It’s a clearly audible cracking, similar to a large raindrop or hail grain, which drips onto a disc. The noise only arises at temperatures below half of 10 degrees as the interior room heats up. A few minutes after the start it goes off and listens about 20-30 minutes. The cracking repeats every 10-60 seconds. Also by stronger braking I can provoke the noise. If I leave the garage (always about 10 degrees warm) in the afternoon, I don’t hear the cracking. I guess that the noise is always caused by the expansion of the material during the interior heating. Unfortunately I can’t exactly assign the noise to it. I’ve already found it hard to fix it in the workshop.
