Hello together, I have experienced it several times now, that the message “soot filter full” appeared and then the engine went into the emergency run with higher load. After a “restart” the emergency run was clearly noticeable but the resistance in the exhaust line – reduced power at the same time significantly increased consumption. Despite about 1,000 km drive nothing changed, a regeneration did not take place. So far I have had no problems with the DPF, the vehicle is mainly moved on the highway with speedy driving. The talk is of a 2007 D5 with 185 hp. So far the DPFs were considered to be very durable, what I have heard. I now ask the question: 1. Can one trigger the regeneration manually, possibly electric? 2. I would expand the DPF and possibly replace it with a new one or burn it free? 3. Could an exhaust sensor be defective, which prevents the regeneration? Who can help me – Best greetings and a nice evening wishes carrier bag
