I bought a V70 T5, century 2001, with practically new Alus 18″ (Tora). So I went to France full-packed in the summer. Now 3 of the 4 rims have felt a strong blow, although I did not torpedo a rim or otherwise a pothole or something like that. They tell me now that foreign rims can deform at high speed (more than 160 had I not driven at that time) because they do not have the same stability as original rims. Very likely the manufacturer of the rims will take this point of view and stay out of the matter by pointing out that the rims were iO at the time of sale. Did anyone of you experience similar things and how did it turn out? Did someone have good experiences with a foreign rim on a current V70; if so which factory? Well, maybe I’m really bad. I look forward anyway to every inscription!
