I’m just looking for a new second car, because my current one will probably get annoying again in the winter. On the way to the new one I tried to determine the costs per km. For fun I did this for my elk, which in contrast to the second car has been kept in stock. I was then a little surprised because it was not as cheap as expected. What interests me now is how much you let your elk cost, and when a good point for a change has come. Here a few frame data from me: old elk (Volvo 850 TDI): 2,74 cent/km current elk (Volvo V70-II 2.5D): 5,12 cent/km the annoying thing with 4 wheels: 1,92 cent/km Explanations: 1) I have calculated the sum of all inspections/repairs/discovery parts (->reifing) calculated on the driven km. 2) the thing with 4 wheels is not an eight-year-old braat and I really don’t want to talk about it on more than 4 km!
