Since February 2007 I am a proud owner of a new Mini Cooper S. key number to2: 0005 to3:AFC . After about a month and approx. 1000 km of mileage the problems started already. The engine starts in the cold state very jerky (speed is slowing down, feels like a turbo hole) and ignites unburnt mixture in the exhaust (fox hunting). The engine has running sounds (a strong bang) that sound as if the cylinder head would not be lubricated. When I drove up to BMW with the car, of course, the errors did not occur any more. They only renewed the generator (light mask) and an exhaust hotplate. Nothing has been announced in this direction from Munich. They only said that the car should be driven so further. The vehicle is often in a (ringed) slant during the day, but I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. In my opinion, this will happen before The error usually occurs after one day of service in the said angle. However, there are no fault lamps in the cockpit and the error readout (Gutmann-Diagnose MegaMacs55) does not spit out any error either. At BMW, however, it is very difficult to find a competent employee who also understands a bit of the matter and can tell me, for example, whether the oil pressure switch is located at the cylinder head or at the motor blo Since I don’t want to cause any capital engine damage to my little flicker, I need your help. If you have similar problems with your MINI rocket, then please be so kind and write down your experiences. I would like to thank you in advance for your efforts.
