Small cars up to 15,000 EUR, Mazda 2, Hyundai i20… ?

Hello, a friend of mine would like to buy a new car. In terms of size, a small car/compact car would suffice – despite 1.92m height. The budget is at max. 15,000 EUR. Mainly it is used for the way to work (short distance 6km) and the way to friend & friends. Per year about 12,000 – 15,000 km mileage per year. We have seen today the Hyundai i20, the Toyota Yaris, the Mazda 2 and the Seat Ibiza. In the short choice is now still the Mazd a and the Hyundai. Tomorrow we look at the Mazda 2 again in peace at another dealer, because the dealer where we were today had only one outside in the dark standing. At the Mazda 2 it would probably be a model with the “Exclusive” or “Sports-Line” equipment and the 90 HP 1.5L gasoline. At Hyundai it would be a model with the “Yes Silver” or “Yes Gold” equipment. As an engine it would be a 1.2L gasoline with 84 hp. Advantages of the models – without test drive… Advantage Hyundai: – 5 years G arantie (costs 200€ extra charge at Mazda) – At first impression today a little more space in the interior Advantage Mazda: – Better engine concept, splashy (according to technical data) – Better infotainment system – LED daytime running light and headlights more beautiful (better?) Are there still more points for the respective model. How would you choose between these models? Or do you have other suggestions? Best regards & thanks! Sebb
