Hello Toyota friends, since February 2007 owns a Corolla Verso D-Cat/black. I thought now I could improve the sound with new speakers. Since the radio reception is not special, you have to grab the CD more often. I did not want to install subwoofer and power amplifier on this CV. I got a few tips from the Toyota Workshop and bought me a few Alpine 2-way speakers. The installation took the half afternoon, distance rings built and the hope always in the back of my mind that the sound, respectively the bass is a lot better. After the first listening sample I can recommend one thing: in my opinion you make it right (with subwoofer and power amplifier etc….) or you leave it to it. The sound is, I think, more sloppy than before. ( What you want to expect from 50 Euro speakers too). I might have changed the plus and minus, but I believe that the pink cable is plus. If I had asked the experts here before. P.S. Since the CV is now my third Toyota, I would write a review of interest to Toyota or an experience report.
