Dear community, our V50 2.0D has now run 67,000km. I noticed from the water filling that the engine compartment cover is centrally in the front area and the cover of the fan wheel is oil-lubricated in the middle. At a short look under the cover I noticed that the intake hose is also oily there and the oil is in the small diagonally installed “bust” in front of it. Meanwhile it is also dripping on the underlying hose. The one here in Mannheim (where I am now working) has confirmed by telephone that this is the throttle valve that has to be replaced. Next week I drive to the installation. Can you tell me briefly whether this is a known problem at the 2.0D and (far more important) what the fun will cost? I hope and assume that the completed connection guarantee will take over the (partly) . To the throttle flap I only found something to the gasoline engines in the SuFu … Grus vom Fred
