Warning lamp ABS and ESP light up

For two days (we’ve had it over – 10 degrees in the last nights) my Smart Fortwo, gasoline engine, 61 hp, built in 2004 and 24000 km light up both the ABS and the ESP control light. I’ll turn off the engine immediately and start it all back to normal. During the ride, both lights light up again from time to time. I think, however, that the ABS works because I felt the pulsation in the pedal during a strong braking attempt. Who has the same problems or is there any remedy for a car that was already more in the workshop than any other car I’ve ever owned or just been driving (Saab Cabrio and BMW X3 and Honda Africa Twin). I wish everyone a healthy new accident-free year.
