Hello dear MotorTalker, I have the following urgent problem: I want to buy a used FTC which was approved 06/2019. He has the normal factory warranty over 24 months and is also built for the German market, so no reimport. Now the dealer says that a Ford warranty extension is not possible with this vehicle, because the first registration has taken place on a commercial company. I believe, however, the dealer only wants to sell his own used car warranty. I of course did not want his own warranty and for that to come to the Ford warranty extension. On the Internet pages for the Garatie extension at Ford there is nothing about it and the hotline mentioned there is a company, which not only for Ford, but for many dealers and manufacturers sold guarantees and which could or wanted to give me no information about it.
