Dear Forists, I’m a budding dad (October ’16 🙂 and my girlfriend already has a daughter (4). Since I’ve had access to a rusty Mazda 3 (what a gammer box!) that is now sold, I’m looking for my own vehicle from summer 2016. Motor: petrol engine, because probably under 15,000 km a year and mostly city and some short distance space: There should be two child seats and the standard baby luggage, also for a trip, fit well in follow-up costs: As low as possible! Price: It should actually cost only 2,000,- to at worst 3000,- Euro (we would have to borrow something there) and because of the upcoming parental leave of my Holden then also last two years without total collapse. I realize that this is much demanded and from 100TKM always something can break. Due to numerous reports and the Japanese reliability, I ended up with these three: Nissan Almera Tino (Fahrwerk mal oll at that age?), Toyota Yaris Verso, Toyota Corolla Verso. What can go into the money? What’s going on? Which of the three would be your favorite? Or something else? How about rust on these vehicles from Bj 2000? What do you say, is it realistic? What are you looking for? Take a professional with you? What do you think of these 100 Euro reports offered at mobile.de? I ask these questions because I’m a social worker. I don’t make much money and my girlfriend doesn’t. Child wasn’t planned, but due to business routes, poor-looking day care and after a baby break, two full-time jobs again, we really need a reliable car. Best and best regards from Berlin Benjamin
