We have our Evoque convertible since August 2016 and from the beginning we have/have had problems with the infotainment system. It is also not about the functions that are to be expected with a system of this price range cheaper, with the “best system the JLR je v built but not available, but to make mistakes and dropouts of the existing functions and the most important, are only we affected or show up with you the same or other errors. Our fat guy bugs us among other things with the following errors: Often (on average all 15-20 engine starts) the sound system remains silent, in the home screen appears on the top left media, where usually the station name stands. Switching to other sources is not possible. Even after 30 minutes This procedure (duration between 2 and 5 minutes) usually fixes the problem the first time, until the next trailer. Rarely (1 times from 100) the screen remains completely black, no sound, no rear view camera, no parking sensors, after approx. 1.5-2 minutes the system starts without further intervention with the Landrover logo and needs to be connected to it. n further 1-2 minutes until everything works. Several times the traffic sign recognition has hung up on longer routes on the highway, then permanently shows 70km/h blinking no matter how fast you drive. Can be switched off in the AI, but after reactivate the same error. Only after several hours of service life the system works normal again. Parking sensors: The system is not ready for operation immediately after engine start, the sensors are only available after just under a minute.
