Hello! Would like to contact the SL drivers from Kassel and the surrounding area today. Can someone help me? My vehicle: R 129 ,SL 500 Bauj. 4/93. For 4 weeks my vehicle has not started. I am now ready that it should be the ignition control unit. I sent it for repair to EPS electronics. I received an e-mail, no error could be detected, but you could not check all areas, it can not be ruled out, nevertheless there is a mistake. smart as before. I talked to the workshop manager Mercedes on it. Have no used there. Must order a new,cost about. 2000 Euro. Can’t help me either. And out of despair buy a used for 400-800 Euro at Ebay, I don’t know. I went through all possibilities with the workshop manager. Have already exchanged some. No result( My contribution here: engine no longer starts). Does anyone have the possibility,the same car I know if it really is because of it. That would be great.
