Long-range diesel from VW 2.0 tdi?

Hello forum, it’s time. I sell the gifted Ford Focus C-Max 1.8 petrol engine and want to drive for my studies in the week over 600km and I can refuel at home at the farm buy a long distance diesel. Since I live in Austria the diesel scandal is only a problem in the future and until then I am certainly finished with my studies. In the family we have made very good experiences with the 1.9 tdi Rumpeldüse engine. Both well over 300,000km and up to But I want at least one diesel with green badge. When was the common-rail diesel installed in the passat (I mean in mid 2008?) or did the 140ps 2.0 tdi rumpel nozzle already have the green badge? I have read out that you can only buy the 2l engine from 2007 onwards, since there are problems with the cylinder head before that and that the oil pump drive must be replaced? In addition, there are versions with DPF and without. Which is to be preferred? n Passat will, it will become a Seat Exeo combo, but there are only so few of them? At Ford I have also looked around but found nothing appealing. I am very satisfied with my up to the pass.. Mileage which is realistic with my budget is between 180,000 and 220,000km. At least with the VW group. Which 2.0 tdi would you recommend and are there any other good alternatives? LG Bravotwo
