Motor preheaters

The diesel engines need a sense of eternity in the cold season until they get warm. Ok, steering wheel and seat heating compensate for this. But it’s still cold. The webasto offered from the factory, as can be seen in other places in the forum, also brings its quirks with it. Subsequent installation seems to be problematic. My dealer says anyway, that they have installed the Webasto installation kit only once and do not do that anymore, because there was only junk with it. the majority here will have a fixed night parking space, which is also equipped with a 220V connection, one could at least shorten the most important warm-up phase in the morning after a cold night with a motor preheater. Does this already have one installed here?? The things are relatively inexpensive and easy to install. Since no intervention in the on-board electrics takes place are also no problems to be expected. Unless one pulls the plug not before the Losfah Can anyone say anything about it? Pre-Christmas greetings to everyone! Sundowner
