Bundesstraße 201 from Husum to Schuby, in the small part of the forest between Treia and Silberstedt in the long left turn, a large local BMW on the right in the ditch, total damage. For almost the whole day, the sun shone at minus degrees, after snow had fallen the night before; the fields on the left and right of the road were covered with snow. The B 201 was partly wet, otherwise almost continuously dry and free, only in the small part of the forest, in which the road operated throughout the day. r was in the shade (!), there were still snow remnants and sections (100 meters) with lanes in the hard snow. According to the accident traces in the undergrowth, the BMW must have struck with quite a force and now the question arises, what was probably the cause of the accident. Curve: In summer the curve can easily withstand 160 km/h snow remnants: On that day a few thousand locals and tourists got there accident-free; we passed this forest place in the morning and evening, the B In the morning, MW was not yet in the trench of game change: During the day, very unlikely If there are no other causes of accident (heart attack at the wheel, oil lane, etc.) then the police will conclude that the driver was too fast – in relation to the prevailing road conditions. The accident could have been avoided if the BMW driver had driven slower – just as slowly as thousands of other road users on this road that day. 201 is in a very good condition, wide and clear and between the villages from Husum to Schuby can be driven very comfortably 100 km/h … in the said forest I (and others) drove only 50 km/h and my car is now outside the door and is not scrap!
