Hello people My engine loses oil right between engine block and gearbox. It’s definitely engine oil, not transmission oil. I wanted to ask if someone has experience with oil removals for sealing. Please don’t “They break the seals” again and so. There are probably people who have already used such things. I would like to read their experience. Since it’s not much (I’ve never had to refill oil), but next TÜV is standing up and you can see that it leaks, I’d like to read about it. my workshop suggested to try it once with an engine oil supplement. Since I had to drive about 50km to the test site, it would probably be like it is now despite previous good washing down of the engine already give again slight traces of the leakage up to there. Of course, he can give me no guarantee that it works with a sealing agent. One would have to make complete oil change to mix the additive. Actually a pity because I did the only before about 800km, abe r if it would help – what’s the point. A repair would be quite expensive, the workshop said – and the cart is already a little older, and now has almost 180’000km. Hours of work here in Switzerland are extremely expensive (from 120.- per hour upwards). Who has experience with such mediums, and which brand I know, that there are amounts here on the side in other forums already, but I would like to read their feedback about it from Renault drivers, because the engines and their seal ngen do vary.
