Hello all, I looked at a P II from 2007 yesterday in Salzgitter-Bad. From above not so bad, but then I followed an inner inspiration during the test drive and had the car lift in a workshop. From below: the rusty horror!!! Unfortunately I did not take any photos, so perplexed I was. Until April I had one from 2008, which had zero rust. And I thought this was the normal case. With this on the other hand I fell already during the lifting process R In the rear wheel houses, as far as not covered by the felt inserts, large-scale rusting of the paint. The whole underbody was thickly glued with bitumen. Below all edges several centimetres wide rusting, where the rest of the paint, together with the mud, could be decoiled with the fingernail. The aggregate carrier at the front was even rusted, between the two storage points de I thought they were galvanized. And the rest of them were made of aluminium. The car was also in a memorable condition: new HU without defects, but the windscreen wipers hung in shreds, parking brake with 50 percent difference, aluminium wheels with 205er (China) tyres without ABE, pushbutton for boot defective, water pump leaks, cooler almost empty and balance tank completely dry. But engine oil far above Maximu. And smells like gas. You could have fixed everything about the price. But so much rust? No, thank you. Greetings! Hinnerk
