Replace 12 volt battery every 4 years at the latest

In the T-Cross log it is stated under inspection work that the 12 volt vehicle battery is to be tested, and if necessary, at least every 4 years. Does VW improve the standard quality of the batteries or is this also intended for other start-stop vehicles? So far, I was of the opinion that these vehicles would have an extra higher quality battery and starter system because of the increased wear. Or is this the VW contribution to environmental protection and the Resource conservation? The usual life of 12 volt batteries should actually be much longer. A fixed, still extremely short, replacement interval has not yet been reached. The recycling industry will be happy about the additional sales anyway. And the manufacturing industry about the increased sales. Not to forget the workshops. In the case of start-stop vehicles, a software-like adjustment to the vehicle is usually planned. But I didn’t really expect this technical poverty certificate. That batteries “agen” is really no secret. But that a fixed exchange period is given by the vehicle manufacturer is unfortunately new to me. So far, I have only replaced defective 12 volt batteries for my vehicles.
