Twingo C06 1.2l, 40kW, timing belt change “HowTo” 😉

Moin together, after having done “Part 1” at our new, used Twingo, Bj 1997 (wheel bearings, carrying joints, small inspection; now to the next “brocking”: timing belts. It was changed according to sticker at the end of 2005. The car has now 170tkm down and the ZK gasket “sweats” a bit stronger. If I come to the TÜV with it, still the timing belt remains as “weak spot”. In the book “So is it done” (recommended), is talked about numerous special tools. What do you need? Or are the “old” tips enough? Note markings, tensioning to 90° angle of rotation, twist twice, check markings, finish. WaPu of course also replace. Have already changed at BMW’s numerous timing belts Lupo 1.0l once and Golf 1.8l once. At the Twingo, however, I noticed the rear tilted installation position of the engine “unpleasant”. Self-made or give away?? Thanks and greeting of the “Stevie” P.S.: Den : http://www.motor-talk.de/…/ …lt-twingo-tooth strap-t2078552.html?… I had already read
