Hello together, I’m just thinking about whether an R-Class in Lang is the new suitable used car for me (see us). For 5 people (children’s seats !) an A6 Avant is sometimes a bit borderline …. I looked at the R-Class in the NL and I liked it quite well. When I looked at the used market, I noticed a few things. The 5+2 version in Lang is not so often available. Usually the vehicles 4+2 are equipped. 2nd row at all useful use – with child seat or by an adult – or can one confidently do without the seat and so the number of available used vehicles “increase” ? I imagine it dangerous and uncomfortable with 5 people and a 4+1 seat loaded e.g. to drive on vacation. Or can one the 3rd row only completely fold ? I have read that one can upgrade (usually only very expensive) the 5th seat. Expensive because of the reinforcement of the brake system. nn the car is pre-fitted for the 5th OR if it owns the AIRMATIC. Can this be confirmed with the Airmatic someone? Are there cheap and reliable ways to get to this middle seat? I looked at ads with EZ from 2007 because I don’t want to have an old car. Sometime in 2007 came the MOPF. Should an R-Class that I buy be built after the model Plfege or is there a production date up to which the R-Class has known defects? I have read somewhere that MB sells converted vehicles to free dealers, the fear of getting 30k€ of expensive scrap is of course great. Is your idea of selling cars from free dealers, some of which have already 150tkm-220tkm in 2-4 years. Do you have to distance yourself from such vehicles from the best or what is your experience? Why are many vehicles after 3 years with free dealers and not with the NL as I would expect for example with leasing backrunners? en or tips ? best thanks in advance Tim
