Tomorrow together, I need 4 winter tires, new (used) vehicle, first winter. All-wheel and 18 inch (C-Class Kombi). After various tests and price orientations I would probably have taken the Bridgestone (LM 005) now. In the size where I would need the set I would be only for the tires at approx. 520 €. What I have now talked about were the solid tests and possibly also the EU label. Even if this is tested by the manufacturer itself – but wet A un un d Consumption C does marketing-wise already something compared to the competition. I am inconclusive about the subject of wear. I currently ride corona-related almost not at all, in normal years it would be about 10tkm/season for the winter tires (and 10tkm for summer). In addition, I like to drive sometimes faster but generally rather “cozy”, so am not a country road-curve hunter. Snow is here with us actually again and again and how that is on the village remains the then also In addition, we already count as a border area to the “bergian country” – ergo, I have to be able to get up a hill in winter. The question – which probably no one can answer here, but opinions I like to hear – is e.g. the extra charge for a Michelin it is worth considering for e.g. running performance? Reasonable tires will probably also be able to build, so I wouldn’t even worry about it now. The sentence Michelin would be approx. 120 € more. If I can drive the one season longer, of course, I will be happy to pay… For the sake of completeness, the tire dimensions: 225/45/18 (front) 245/40/18 (back) Greeting and thank you in advance
