Hello, I’ve been driving a 3-L diesel for over a year. I only learned about the problems after the purchase, bought it with a brand new engine (because just changed). Since I no longer have a warranty on the new Agregat, I did not have the oil change (all 10000 km) made in an SZ. Now I stayed yesterday with massive oil loss and was dragged by the ADAC into the SZ. It turns out that the oil drain screw was defective and obviously with (acc. On the bill (seen today) it says: oil drain screw defective from the oil filter cover, the oil filter cover must be renewed at the next oil change. The master of the SZ assumes that the screw was simply pushed out by the operating pressure, the oil leaked out and…. more we don’t know yet! He hinted that the manipulating factory town had to take this damage from his point of view, because here “punched” was done. now have two methods to choose from: 1. Oil filter cover new, oil pure and test whether the engine has suffered damage, 2. Evaluate, documentation, take the engine apart and look at it… Do you have a piece of advice? That’s a strong piece of advice, isn’t it? I rely on my workshop as a layman – I treat my 3lDiesel like a raw egg and now a glued-in screw!!! Kirsten
