Accident had / fictitious billing? / Selling car anyway… what to do?

Hello, I had an accident with my only 11 months old car (slipped in the snow against a road sign). The bumper, the wheel run left and the door left is damaged. According to a car mechanic, the damage is about €4,000. Now I don’t want to have the car anymore! What possibilities do I have now? – Either I have the car repaired via the comprehensive repair – I can fictitiously have it billed…but then what? Will I get the (accepted) €4,000 paid out and nd could theoretically have the car repaired with a friend cheaper? Just as I read, you have to keep the car for at least 6 months with fictitious billing – but what if I would still sell it before? – Sell the car unrepaired? – What possibility is there still? I definitely don’t want the car anymore. Oh so… according to my insurance I should drive to a workshop of my choice and this should make an estimate for the repair. KV would like to have the insurance before the repair and then decide whether to send out an expert. – Is that so correct? Or could I go directly to an expert of my choice? Does the insurance have to pay that? Many greetings
