Hello, was just at my seat dealer and wanted to have eigtl. a rattle noise removed. When chatting with the mechanic we then came to talk about power and consumption. I told him that the car with 75 hp is very sluggish and the consumption is also with gentle driving mode 2 liters above factory specification. Then the master asked about the year of the car (02/05) and opened up for me that there was a software update for this model. There are apparently problems with the Zünde nlage (or was it the injection? I’d rather ask again) and then CD ́s were sent with the new software to the dealers! So who has the same problems as me (too high consumption, tough and sluggish drive behaviour) should ask his dealer sometimes. In any case, I find it a great shame that one as customer and owner of the affected model is not informed about it. Finally, also such a popular small car costs “mal even” good 15,000 €
