Hello! I wanted to deal with the biker habits a little bit – and how this could affect the offspring. I found a great reader’s letter in the current motorcycle, which however refers to an article that I have not read. I type off the crucial points, which meet exactly in the mark of what I don’t like about the traditional biker culture: quote: “Motorcycling always has something to do with rebellion. Aha. And Rock always has to do with it. in. Dear people at the IVM: Have you still not noticed that motorcycle riding is mega uncool for precisely these reasons? Anyone who goes to a biker event every now and then and has to endure the eternal Born-to-be-wild-Dogma has no desire for a motorcycle. Grandpas, who have been drunk for 30 years listening to the same songs and still enjoy third-class cover versions, certainly have not the strength to inspire the youth for motorized two-wheelers. It is another generation with its own value. …” I can only agree with these sentences. Nothing against biker pioneers and Harley culture. But belly, beard and patchy vest with whisky flag are now nothing that can make the youth tasty. They understandably turn more towards the show riders and racers. What the DSF reports and the biker clubs convey is simply unattractive for young people this side of Midlifecrisis. How do you see this? Greeting
