Hello together I have been driving my new ProCeed GT for about two weeks now and often use the adaptive cruise control on the motorway. However, I haven’t really looked through the behavior of the cruise control yet. There is a relatively detailed view where the front vehicle and the distance are also shown. There you can also see the distance you have set in the form of beams. I now thought that exactly these beams will be kept when the front vehicle slows down. According to the display in the cockpit, however, a larger distance is often kept, which I find basically ok. Bloss a bit confusing. Every now and then a car drives me into the safety distance and then the car is also “shown in the beam and the cruiser delayed. I would now be interested whether someone has made observations, in which cases also actually braked. On a country road on an evening I could beob in the rearview mirror Beware that “I’ve been braking for a long time. It wouldn’t have been necessary there. I care about a smooth driving and the brakes should be used as rarely as possible on the highway or on the road, but ideally only gas should be taken away. What are your experiences?
