Hello dear motor-talker:-) If there had been a question for all of you. I own a VW Polo, built in 2010, 1.4 l-engine, 86 hp. The vehicle has brought 105480 km behind it up to now. But now I have to get the battery back. It is a 12 volts:-) 44 Ah battery. It starts now already with very light minus straight in the morning only very tired. The starter is very difficult. Then I wanted to charge the battery overnight. So I have my electronic charger, the v On Lidl connected. It showed immediately after the connection that the battery is still half full. But to my surprise when I wanted to look again after the right after two hours, the charger interrupted the charge, the voltage indicator on the charger showed a voltage of 15.4 volts (???) and on the display was “Full”. So battery according to the charger again fully charged. I immediately wanted to check into the car if that is also so. However, the starter turned still The battery makes me manage my car for a long time already. It was already with the VW dealer. He carried out a so-called calm current measurement. That is 85 milliampere hours with my car. According to the dealer still within the scope of the tolerance. Can you maybe further help me? Greetings and thank you all who can say something about it.
