In the current issue AutoBild Allrad tests the gasoline versions of the VW Tiguan (160 hp) vs Nissan Qashqai (141 hp) vs KIA Sportage (163 hp). Quality impression in all three is good, VW uses the somewhat higher-quality materials. The Tiguan wins ahead of Nissan and Kia. Those who have ever driven in all three cars find the test in the bottom line ok. The Kia loses some points in comfort and engine performance. Otherwise, he is well judged, as the best in equipment/operation , safety, chassis, warranty, price/up-price design. The Kia is always the most affordable, equipment-like list price about 5,000,00 Euro cheaper than the VW, if you take the discounts into account it is even more. What is noticeable is that the sportage is classified with the insurance, especially with comprehensive, so unfavorable. In one point however, I can not agree with the testers, because the sportage gets the worst boot rating. The trunk of the Qashqai is also not bigger and can be loaded worse (loader edge). The trunk of the Tiguan is a bit more variable (back bench can be moved at extra cost) but also narrower than that of the Kia. Well, the next thing you want to store is the one time the other more practical. Anyway, it is all three neat cars, you can do nothing wrong (maybe you should buy the 136 HP diesel instead of the 163 HP Sportage petrol engine o the better still the 184 hp HP diesel ? The Kia with the strongest diesel engine is still cheaper than the VW with the weaker gasoline!). rolo
